Aluminium oxide (name given by The International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry) is a chemical compound of aluminium and oxygen. The chemical formula is AI2O3 and is commonly called alumina. It can also be referred to as aloxide, aloxite, or alundum depending on particular forms or applications. It is a white or nearly colourless crystalline substance which is used as a starting material for the smelting of aluminium metal. It is odourless and insoluble in water.
AI2O3 is an electrical insulator but has a relatively high thermal conductivity showing its high ability to pass heat through it.
UAE is said to have the best quality of limestone in terms of purity and its mineralogical and physical properties. Keeping the quality in mind, we manage to diminish the maximum content to 0.30% by the extraction process. Since it is one such acidic element of which high presence degrades the quality of the limestone, we strive to maintain the top-quality limestone composition.
